For sale: ClickCartPro shopping cart licence

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

I have a fully paid for licence for Click Cart Pro which I have no need for as I purchased it as part of a client agreement which has since changed scope. If anyone has a project coming up which they’re considering using Click Cart Pro, please get in touch and you can buy the licence I have which can be transferred to any project.

While I am able to keep it for any length of time for use on future projects, I’d rather get some of my money back to pay off the cost I’ve incurred as you cannot get a refund from Click Cart if you’ve used their trial software then bought a licence (you only get money back if you buy it straight away).

It normally retails at £187.99 inc VAT but I’d be happy to sell it for £140.00 o.n.o via paypal.

If you’re serious / interested, please get in touch via the contact page.

Flickr video

Flickr it seems are ready to cash in the popularity not only of photography but video uploading and sharing by adding video uploads to their site. I must say there seems to be a lot of opposition to it from people who feel Flickr is a pure photography resource but I think their track record in developing nicely designed and functional features on the site only bodes well for people who, like myself, think youtube is a bit clunky and visually unappealling.

Flying penguins on the BBC

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

Not content with overhauling the BBC website in recent months, they’ve also captured some stunning footage of rare flying penguins in Antarctica.

Flying penguins

You can watch the full footage here

There is of course the *possibility* that with it being April 1st and the fact penguins can’t fly that this may in fact be an excellent april fool/advert for iPlayer.

As usual, Google have also got into the act with Virgle - The adventure of many lifetimes

You can watch Sergiy and Larry talking about the project here or you can just view the last FAQ question here
