welcomebrand wordpress theme release

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

I have only recently swapped the welcomeblog to wordpress but I must admit I’ve been impressed with what the latest build has to offer bloggers. As such, I spent a day or so making the custom wordpress theme for this site but thought that since it’s a reasonably generic two column layout in terms of body content but has the big, bold, in your face type I am currently liking so much that I would share the theme with fellow wordpress users.

company, meet creative relaunched

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

I’ve redesigned and launched the 2008 version of company, meet creative a jobsite aimed at anyone looking to post creative and media jobs without having to pay the sometimes large fees of other job sites out there.

post design and creative jobs for nothing!

the site remains free to post a job and we welcome postings from companies around the world.

Company, Meet Creative

I hope you like the new site, it’s much less bloated xhtml and css and the new structure should make it a lot more flexible in terms of layout and functioning without css or images should the situation arise.

you can still subscribe to the creative jobs rss feed and never miss out. For those who have visited before, you’ll notice the section for creatives to add their own portfolio of visuals and links has gone for the moment, don’t worry, that will be back soon. It’s being reworked to include some improved functionality.

good to see some new visitors to the site! hopefully it’ll provide a little boost in traffic and interest.

Dont’ forget to take a look around, I’m constantly updating the blog at the moment and I have a couple of new tutorials coming soon.
