If you’re sat here reading this, then my hope is that you’re interested in working with me so here’s an insight into how I work and why you should get in touch.
Principles I design by

- Design is all about identifying and solving problems
- Users should always leave a website with their goals achieved
- Always ask “why?” – Not to be awkward but to cut to the chase and avoid project bloat
- Make things as simple as possible and avoid clutter
- Good design is the result of good preparation and thinking
- Good content will always win the day
- Plan that content before you design anything
- I believe sketching, wireframing and rapid prototyping then deploying in quick release cycles is usually the most efficient way to work
- There is no such thing as one true layout, grid or framework.
- Each project is unique and should be planned as such
- If it’s not fun, you’re doing it wrong
So, hopefully that’s given you a quick overview of me as a person and designer. If you’ve not been put off completely, please do get in touch!
